Daniel Colon "Nishio" Pagan Sr., 88, of Waianae, a retiree from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Shop 72, and an Army veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Kukuihaele, Hawaii. He is survived by son Daniel Jr.; daughters Valerie Lopes, Josephine "Joey" Hernandez and Colleen Kama; brother Jesse; sisters Mary Rodrigues, Jane Carreira, Louisa Ramos, Hattie Adsuara and Helen Costa; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. today at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10 a.m. Committal services: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
