Antone Cordeiro Caravalho Sr.

Antone Cordeiro Caravalho Sr., 89, of Keauhou Mauka, a retired macadamia nut and coffee farmer and owner of Kainaliu Used Cars and Phillip's 66 in Kainaliu, died at home. He also was a former Kohala Sugar Co. heavy-equipment operator and truck driver. He was born in Hawi, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Adelia; sons Anthony, David and Christino; daughters Irene Frederick, Adeline Silva and Annie Paul; sisters Betsy Caravalho, Louisa Santiago and Annie Travens; 42 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Kawanui, Kona. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
