Koshun "Pachec" Yamashiro, 85, of Kaneohe, a retired Oahu Construction heavy-equipment operator and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Honolulu. He was born in Kaneohe. He is survived by daughter Kathleen "Apricot" Martines, hanai daughter Wailana Haiola, sister Betty Oshiro, nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Committal services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Lei welcome.
