MAMIYA OKADA
A graveside inurnment service for the late Dr. Doris Mamiya Okada, who died on November 28, 2011, in Monterey Park, California, will be held at Mililani Memorial Park at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 7. A memorial service was held at Evergreen Baptist Church of Los Angeles in December. Doris is survived by her husband, Victor, daughter, Candace (Norman) Lao, and granddaughters, Krista and Kara Lao. She is also survived by her sister, Anna Mamiya Nicholas, brothers, Lawrence (May) Mamiya and Albert (Lolanda) Mamiya, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Dr. Lawrence Mamiya will officiate. Casual attire is recommended.
