Charles E. "Uncle Charley" Pirga Sr., 69, of Ewa Beach, a Hawaii Army National Guard veteran, a retired Hawaiian Electric Co. supervisor and Ewa Lighting Service Inc. licensed electrical contractor, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Elmyra K.; sons Charles Jr., Ernest and Godwin Sr.; brothers Thaddeus Jr., James and Timothy; sisters Lani Goodman and Stasia Barcelona; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10 a.m. Burial: 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
