James Kenso "Jimmy" Sakai, 84, of Honolulu, formerly of Washington, D.C., a senior executive for Sen. Daniel Akaka and an Army veteran, died in Wahiawa. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Florence T., daughters Colleen C. and Cheryl N., and brother George Nakagawa. Visitation: 11 a.m. Sunday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services at noon. Casual attire.
