SIMPLICIO "PETE" "PECIONG" JUMAUAN TAGALOG Age 80, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away May 28, 2012 in Aiea. Born March 2, 1932 in Waipahu, Hawaii. Retired from Catholic Charities Palama Settlement and also for Heide & Cook, Ltd. as a refrigeration, air condition mechanic. Founder & leader of Makibaka (Ota Camp). He is survived by spouse, Leonora "Nora" Baclaan Gozon-Tagalog; sons, Darrell P. Tagalog Lapulapu, Peter K. (Marnelle) Gozon-Tagalog; daughters, Juanita (Eddie) Visitacion, Grace L. Townsend, Vivian M. Tagalog (Joel Garcia), Anette M. (Stefan) Ibarra, Abigail I. (James) Kupihea, Leonette I. Tagalog (Kalani) Ka'auamo, Naomi Gozon-Tagalog; 20 grand-children; 13 great-grand-children; former wife, Sally Tagalog; sister, Loretta Tagalog (Shack) Shinozawa). Visitation 6-9 p.m. Monday (July 2) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Wake Service 6:30 p.m. Visitation also 8:15 a.m. Tuesday (July 3) at St Joseph Catholic Church; (94-675 Farrington Hwy., Waipahu) Mass 9:30 a.m. Burial 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
