Martin "Jackie" Branco, 89, of Hilo, a Standard Oil Co. area salesman and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Laupahoehoe Point, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Rita A.; sons Jack L., William "Billy Dave," Martin "Marty" and Greg; daughter Marvellee Azevedo; hanai sons Alan Parker and Analu Elliott; hanai daughters Elizabeth "Girlie" Miller and Eileene Waardenburg; brothers Charlie and Manfred; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
