Simplicio Jumauan Tagalog, also known as "Pete" and "Peciong," 80, of Waipahu, a retired Catholic Charities Palama Settlement employee and Heide & Cook refrigeration and air-conditioning mechanic, died in Aiea. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Leonora B. "Nora" Gozon-Tagalog; sons Darrell P. Tagalog Lapulapu and Peter K. Gozon-Tagalog; daughters Juanita Visitacion, Grace L. Townsend, Vivian M. Tagalog, Anette M. Ibarra, Abigail I. Kupihea, Leonette I. Tagalog Ka'auamo and Naomi Gozon-Tagalog; former wife Sally; sister Loretta Tagalog Shinozawa; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 94-675 Farrington Highway, Waipahu. Mass: 9:30 a.m. Burial: 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
