Akinori Furuta, 90, of Honolulu, a retired Dole Co. maintenance supervisor, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Mountain View, Hawaii. He is survived by son Melvyn, daughter Lynn Brechin, sister Kimiyo Ohta, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
