Samuel A.L. Kam
June 15, 2012 Samuel A.L. "Chuku" Kam, 86, of Punaluu, a former general foreman at Hawaiian Dredging and an Army veteran, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Jo Anne; son Samuel "Sonny Boy"; daughters Mori "Poopsie" and Gail Kam, Dana Kealoha, Lori "Howie" Schamerhorn and Susan Talero; brothers Ernest "Kaimi" and Edward "Ah Mun"; sisters Lily "Honey," Marcia "Makela" and Margaret Kam, Nancy Naki and Eleanora Chun; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Oahu Cemetery Chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Scattering of ashes: 2 p.m. Monday in Punaluu. Incorrect information in an obituary published Monday.
