Joseph "Uncle Joe" Papalimu, 77, of Hilo, a retired Lagoon Liquors proprietor and Marine Corps veteran, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by daughters Kawehilani Marshall and Kahiolani J. Papalimu; brothers William L. Abraham, Timothy K. Papalimu and Jack Odani; sisters Rebecca P. Baji, Ruth K. Papalimu and Elaine Grace; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation:10 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services:11:30 a.m. Aloha attire.
