Age 47, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep on June 10, 2012 at his home in Oceanside, CA. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 16, 1964. He was a hairstylist for many years at Noriko's, Hair Alchemy and JC Penney's. Michael lived life to the fullest and truly loved people. He made friends easily and usually made them for life. He loved so many and was loved by many in return.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hideo and Rina Imamura and sisters-in-law Kathy and Kim Imamura. Survived by brothers Dennis and Remo (Romano) and sister Carla, and nephews Gavan, Ryan, Gabriel, Remo (Akoni) and Lorenzo, as well as grandnieces Katerina and Avy, grandnephews Mikey, and Harley and numerous friends.
Celebration of life to be held at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, East Chapel, on Sunday, July 22, 2012. Visitation at 2:00 pm, Services at 3:00 and committal of ashes at sea at 6:00 pm at Kewalo Basin Park.
