CHARLES MCTEER JOYCECHARLES MCTEER JOYCE
94, of Honolulu, passed away at home on 12 July 2012. He is now with his beloved wife "Edie" of 55 years. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio on 1 September 1917 he came to Hawaii to work at Pearl Harbor in 1942. He retired as Director of Technical Services, Supply Department Naval Submarine Base, Pearl Harbor in 1983. He was a Scottish Rite Mason and active in the Aloha Shrine.
He is preceded in death by his wife Edith M. Joyce, parents Charles W. Joyce and Myrtle (Saunders) Joyce, brother James W. Joyce, sisters Frances J. Horetel, Mary Lou J. Tracy, and Frances J. Horetel. He is survived by his son Charles J. Joyce, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He requested no memorial, services, donations, or flowers. His ashes to be scattered at a later date.
