73David "Kawika" Koani Jr., 55, of Waianae, a city Department of Parks and Recreation senior groundskeeper, died in Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by sons Donovan and Derrick, daughter Davine, parents David and Margaret, brothers Gilman "Bully" and Jordan, and sister Margolyn. Committal services: 11 a.m. Friday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
