Phoebe Anna Keaweamahi Galindo SaucermanPHOEBE ANNA KEAWEAMAHI GALINDO SAUCERMAN
80, passed away on July 7, 2012 at home in Makaha. She was born on February 15, 1932 in Lahaina, Maui. She had retired from Lualualei Naval Magazine as a communications supervisor and a former employee of Hawaiian Airlines.
Phoebe was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Makaha Ward and belonged to the Waianae Military Civilian Advisory Council (WMCAC), Barbers Point Riding Club, VFW Host 849 Ladies Auxiliary, American Cancer Society and many, many more. She was well known for the many cakes she made: birthday, shower, retirement and especially her beautiful wedding cakes.
She is survived by husband Robert; daugthers Kelly (Edwin) Saucerman-Gladder, Erin Fernandes, Shane (Blane) Aburamen and hanai daughter Judy (Ray) Datzman; grandchildren Tyler and Emily Fernandes, Devan and Casey Aburamen; brothers Daniel (Pualani) Galindo, Victor Villarin, Albert (Patricia) Villarin, sisters Mary Apio, Clara Narvaez, Linda Meyer; many nieces and nephews, and numerous hanai "adopted" loved ones that have been touched by her kindness.
She will be greatly missed by her horse Lady Dillingham, dogs Laki, Coach and Buddy, birds Hauoli and Keoki .
Visitation 9:00am Saturday, July 28th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Makakilo Hawaii Stake, 92-900 Makakilo Drive, Kapolei, HI, services 11:00am. Burial to follow, 2:30pm, Valley of the Temples, Aloha attire.
