E.K. "Evans Kellogg" Whiting, 73, of Kailua, a retired Northwest Airlines pilot and an Air Force veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in North Carolina. He is survived by wife Marianne K.; son William S. III; daughter Kimberly S.; sisters Eleanor Moylan, Mary R. Somerville and Isabell VanMerlin; and two grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Christ Church Uniting Disciples and Presbyterians, Kailua. Aloha attire. Donations suggested to The Institute for Human*Services, 456 Kaaahi St., Honolulu, HI 96817.
