BETTY JANSSEN KELLEY Betty Janssen Kelley, age 89 of Modesto, California, passed away in Sacramento, California. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 30, 1923. She loved teaching elementary school and taught in many places as she traveled the world with her Air Force husband and their children. They retired in Modesto, California. She is survived by son, Gordon (Annemie), daughter, Lisa Smith (David), seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, and son Alex. Services will be held November 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
