72Carolyn Suverkrup "Kennie" Thomas, 80, of Volcano, Hawaii, formerly of Oahu, an office manager for Waimea Medical and Lucy Henriques Medical Center, died in Hilo. She was born in Moline, Ill. She is survived by husband James, sons Michael andKimo, daughter Carolyn, sister Ellen Sorenson, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Private services.
