Alvin "Barney" Wasano, 76, of Kekaha, Kauai, a Marine Corps gunnery sergeant and a Boeing Co. industrial fireman, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Julia, son Cedric H., daughter Blanche M. Tombleson-Wasano, brother Stanley, sisters Lorraine Davis and Joann Souza, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Garden Island Mortuary. Casual attire.
