Robert Earl Kailiala Saladaga Sr., 76, of Lihue, a retired Hawaii Air National Guard technical sergeant and aerospace control and warning system technician, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Wailua, Kauai. He is survived by son Robert Jr.; daughters Earlene Wilson, Nadine Quides, Charlene Sacramed and Raeleen Salinas; brother George; sisters Augusta "Gussie" Shumacher, Theresa Yoshioka, Beatrice "Maui" Miller, Roberta "Maile" Consibog, Gladys "Lani" Costa-Ayres and Juanita Freeman; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kauai Veterans Center. Celebration of life: 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
