Joseph P. Narvaez, also known as Jose Navares Dias, "Pepe" and "Joe," 88, of Holualoa, Hawaii, a retired J.W. Glover construction laborer, Pearl Harbor Aqua-Lung diver and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Dennis Torres and Rudolfo, Ruben and Cruzanto Lopez; daughters Linda Lawrence, Lokelani Rios, Maria Smith, Christina Flores, Ramona Lopez, Herlinda Jacobo-Roque, Tina Marie Enos, Frances Cummings and Estraita Narvaez; 59 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 4 p.m. Cremation to follow at the mortuary. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kamakawiwoole Church, Honokaa, Hawaii. Casual attire.
