Richard Douglas Cope, 63, of Ewa Beach, a retired Hawaii National Guard master sergeant, Army combat medic who served in Vietnam and Bronze Star recipient, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Nathaniel D. and Richard; brother Billy H.; sisters Carmella L. Greenhalgh-Cope, Carlotta L. Danielson, Sheree M. Lotz, Laura M. Christopherson and Lorna L. Cope; and three grandchildren. Services to be held at a later date in California.
