79Genaro "Kenneth" Bonachita, 83, of Hanapepe, Kauai, an Olokele Sugar Co. mill mechanic, died in Hale Kupuna Heritage Home. He was born in Makaweli, Kauai. He is survived by wife Evelyn R.; sons Michael and Joseph G.; daughters Sharlene Valdez, Kareen Gardner, Debbie Ponting, Beverly Kauahi, Judith L. Carino, Jacquelyn K. Braun and Jessie C. Barretto; sister Blanche Christobal; 26 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lihue. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.
