78Caroleen Kehaulani Gates, 67, of Waianae died in Waianae. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Ronald R.; son Alva H. Kaiwi; daughters Rocsand P.H., April L. and Madline K. Gates, and Louise L. Kaiwi; brothers David K. Nuuanu and Alva "Mahi" Kaiwi; sisters Katherine M. Kalama and Joyce Purdy; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 85-574 Plantation Road, Waianae. Services: 8 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
