She is survived by husband David C., son Micah L., daughters Pomakai Hannemann and Melinda Hiramoto, hanai daughters Kuulei and Nalani, mother Miriam Smythe, brother Ledward Smythe, sister Gaylen Paio, hanai sisters Susan Catinia and Minnie Caires, and three grandchildren.
