William Kaneahanui Nunies, 87, of Honolulu, an ammunition disposal and civil service worker, and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lily K. Kanoholani-Ako; son Kimo Kauahi; daughters Judy Santiago, Mercy Jackson and Willette Coleman; brother Keola; sister Genevieve Labistre; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Monday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Services: 9:30 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
