Yong Kam, 84, of Kaneohe, a retired preservationist mechanic at Pearl Harbor, a tuberose farmer for Kam's Flowers and an Army veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Mitchell; daughter Jeannie Yoshida; brothers Howard, George and Kenneth; sisters Ann Chang and Helen Ho; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary.
