71Joseph Walsh Hanley Sr., 78, of Hilo, founder and chairman emeritus of Orchid Isle Auto Center and Inter Pacific Motors Inc., died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by sons Joseph W. Jr., Robert, James and Jonathan; daughter Mary K.H. Espejo; hanai son Alamo Momotaro; sister Mary V. Gray; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Papaikou, Hawaii. Mass: 11 a.m. Casual attire. Cut flowers or lei only. No monetary offerings.
