WILLIAM (BILL) CHARLES VINETWILLIAM (BILL) CHARLES VINET,
JR. At age 91, Bill Vinet passed away in Kailua, Hawaii on December 2, 2012. He was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a graduate of Jesuit High School, Loyola University, and Loyola University College of Law. Bill Vinet is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gisele Alice Plourde Vinet of Kailua and six daughters, Madeleine Hogan of Kansas City, MO; Jocelyn Herbison of Pittsford, NY; Lisette Blumhardt of Kailua, HI; Monique Imbert of Princeton, NJ; Michele Hake of Austin, TX; Cybele Harris of Las Vegas, NV; and son, Christopher Vinet of Piney River, VA. Bill Vinet spent 32 years in the U.S. Army retiring in 1978 as a Colonel in the Judge Advocate General's Corps and as an Appellate Military Judge. He is lovingly remembered by his 7 children, 19 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. John Vianney Church, where he was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, 920 Keolu Drive, Kailua, Hawaii on Friday, January 25, at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Aloha attire. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aloha Life Advocates.
