76Herbert Tadayoshi Hayama, 74, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii County Building Department civil engineer, Hawaii County Housing Department consultant as well as an employee for Wesley R. Segawa & Associates and JHK Tanaka Inc., died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kona, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Phyllis, daughters Mari Nakamura and Claire Horiuchi, sisters Elaine Sugiyama and Irene Higashi, and five grandchildren. Visitation:9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Services:11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
