72Margarita Cabalce Dawa, 76, of Hanalei, Kauai, a self-employed taro farmer, died. She was born in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, Philippines. She is survived by sons Rudolfo Mantanan, Romeo Dawa and Remegio Tangonan; daughters Marissa Batterman, Maxima Schmidt and Marilyn Dawa-Loos; stepson Abraham Tangonan; stepdaughters Grace Bancud, Geno-veva Yabes and Myrna Rodriguez; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Jan. 14 at St. William Catholic Church, Hanalei. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Catherine Catholic Church cemetery, Kapaa.
