"WE WILL NEVER FORGET" Age 87, of Oregon formerly of Honolulu, passed away November 29, 2012 in Oregon. Born April 22, 1925 in Hawaii. Served in the U.S. Army for 22 years and retired as SFC (E-7) as Head Chef for Seven Three and Four Star Generals who were Commanders-In-Chief of the Pacific Rim in Fort Shafter, Oahu. After retiring from the military, he worked on the Kwajalein, Atoll, Marshall Islands and managed various food establishments. He is survived by daughters, Annie Eissler of Oregon, Bernie (Ben) Kostick of Washington, Melonie Conselva of Honolulu; sons, Reggie (Jen) Amante of California, John (Roxanne) Amante of Ewa Beach; step-children, Walter Wailehua, Howard Wailehua, Marilyn Wailehua Kalua, Anna Chee, George Wailehua, Sonny Ferriera, Debbie Anoina; 9 grand- children; 13 great-grand- children. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Saturday (January 12) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Memorial Service 10:30 a.m. Burial 10:00 a.m Monday (January 14) at Schofield Barracks Post Cemetery.
