SEIKO AKAMINE Age 98, of Pearl City, HI, passed away November 17, 2012 in Ewa Beach. Born March 13, 1914 in Puunene, Maui, Hawaii. Retired after 32 years as an outside machinest with the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Shop #38. He is survived by spouse, Kazue Akamine; sons, Roy (Amy) Akamine, Ray (Karen) Akamine, Wallace (Donna) Akamine; daughter, Joyce (David) Shimabukuro; brothers, Dr. Edwin Akamine, Lawrence Akamine, Dr. Jack Akamine; sisters, Natsuko Matsuda, Harriet Hatfield; 8 grand- children; 3 great-grandchildren. Private Services held.
