Herman Edward Kalani Puaoi Sr., 49, of Molokai, an Army veteran, died on Molokai. He was born on Molokai. He is survived by son Herman E.K. Jr.; daughters Numela N.L. Puaoi-Kelii and Jamie-Lee L. Channels-Puaoi; mother Lillian H.; brothers Ernest K.B. Sr., William K.D., Ernest K. Jr., Wayne H.K. Sr. and Gregory C.K. Sr.; sisters Lillian C.K. Iaukea, Ardis A.H. Farris, Bridget L. Davis, Ernell L. Puaoi-Guzman and Lorraine P. Puaoi; and six grandchildren. Services: 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Kaunakakai. Scattering of ashes: 8 a.m. Saturday at Moomomi, Molokai, then at Kepuhi Beach, Molokai.
