He was born in SouthHilo.He is survived by wife Ruby; sons Gary, Larry and Allen; daughters Carol Kamehaiku and Sharon Tomasa; sisters KayMiyashiro, Dorothy Katsunuma and Janet Arakawa; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
