Joseph Kahai Sr., 66, of Las Vegas, a retired Federal Fire Department captain and a Navy veteran, died in Las Vegas. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Maida; son Joseph Jr.; daughters Laurie Ceniza and Monica Mulivai; brothers Abraham, Gene and Roland; sister Laverne Rhody; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
