Mildred Toshiko Nishimura
MILDRED TOSHIKO NISHIMURA Age 81, of Tustin, California, passed away peacefully at her home on December 21, 2012. She was born on February 2, 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Millie grew up in Kalihi and graduated from Farrington High School in 1949. She received an undergraduate degree and a master's degree in social work from the University of Hawaii. Millie is survived by her husband, Dr. Karl Nishimura; brother, Roy Nakahara (Doris); daughter, Anne Nishimura (Dave Miura); son, Dr. Earl Nishimura (Ann); and grandchildren, Kristin, Emily and Corey. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Harris United Methodist Church, visitation 10:00 am, service 11:00 am. Aloha attire. No flowers please.
