WILLIAM H. YIM Passed away in November 2012, at age 89. Bill was born in 1923 in Honolulu to Harry and Sau Ung Loo Yim. He graduated from St. Louis High School, the University of Hawaii and received a law degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where he met his beloved wife, Tomi. Throughout a long career as an attorney, Bill worked for the State Legislature as Senate Clerk, the City & County of Honolulu and State of Hawaii Attorney General. Upon retirement from the U.S. Social Security Administration as an administrative law judge, he returned to private practice until his death. In work and in life, Bill valued excellence, acts of kindness, fairness and integrity. He is survived by wife, Tomi, children Susan Griffin, Harry (Val) and John Yim, sisters Dorothy Chang and Gertrude Chock, and many nieces and nephews. Private services were held.
