HELEN HISAKO HAGIWARA YOUNG Helen Hisako Hagiwara Young died peacefully on January 21, 2013 in Seattle, Washington surrounded by her family. She was born in Tokyo, Japan on March 13, 1925. She resided in Japan, Okinawa, and Hawaii. She had a gift for cooking and her meals were always prepared and served with love. Her kindness and devotion to family was a reflection of her peaceful and beautiful spirit which will always be remembered and cherished. She is survived by her children, Naomi East (Tom) of North Carolina, Leonard Young (Terri) of Seattle, Daniel Young (Kyoko) of Wahiawa, Eileen Adams (Stephen) of Hilo; her brothers, Hideo and Katsuhiko of Japan, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and extended family in Hawaii and the mainland. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 11 am at the Wahiawa Assembly of God.
