81Willie Tavares Ferreira Jr., 78, of Hilo, a salesman, owner of Willie's Tire Service and a Willocks Construction Co. retiree, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Shirley; sons Arnold, Carl and Patrick; brother Harold; sisters Loretta Kim and Lucille Scarborough; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Casual attire.
