ELLEN LACERDO
Passed away one year ago today, January 31, 2012. She was 87 years old. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, July 6, 1924. Graduated Leilehua High School, Summa Cum Laude, Class of 1942. She also graduated from Ohio State University 1946 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy worked as a physical therapist for Queen's Hospital. Married in 1948. She had 6 children. 1972-1982 worked as an Educational Assistant at Leilehua High School. Ellen leaves behind her husband Norman, daughters Kathy (Bina), Patty (Mike) Ikeda, Lani (Wes) Murphy and Pris . Sons Jeffrey (Ella) and Paul. Eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. A loving and giving person who was always there for her family and friends. Ellen has gone to be with her mother, Silla, father, Chung Whan Kim, sister Pearl and brothers Thomas and George.
