AGE 31, PASSED AWAY ON JANUARY 19, 2013 AT KAISER PERMANENTE MOANALUA MEDICAL CENTER. HE WAS EMPLOYED BY SECURITAS AT WINDWARD MALL IN KANE'OHE. HE WAS FORMERLY EMPLOYED AT MID-WEEK IN KANE'OHE WHERE HE WORKED FOR MANY YEARS. HE ASSISTED HIS GRANDMOTHER, ALICE P. HEWETT AT HER POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE FUNCTIONS AT THE ALICE P. HEWETT PARK THAT WAS JUST NAMED AFTER HER FOR HER MANY YEARS OF VOLUNTEERISM TO P.A.L. HE ALSO PERFORMED IN CONCERTS IN HAWAI'I, JAPAN AND CALIFORNIA WITH HIS FATHER, KAWAIKAPUOKALANI K. HEWETT. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, DESIRIE KU'UIPO (PESTANA) HEWETT: DAUGHTERS EMMALANI K. HEWETT, KU'ULEI H. HEWETT, ARIEL K. HEWETT: STEP CHILDREN RICHARD A. YASUDA AND MONIQUE K. YASUDA: FATHER, KAWAIKAPUOKALANI K. HEWETT: MOTHER DANIELLE KEOHOKAPU-VALENCIA: BROTHER, AMOS LONOKAILUA-HEWETT: SISTERS, 'OHELO'ULAOKALANI K. HEWETT AND KAMALEHUA KEOHOKAPU: HANAI SISTER, WELU BEAN: AND GRANDMOTHERS, ALICE PUALEILANI KANA'E HEWETT AND MATILDA RICHARDS. HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY MANY UNCLES, AUNTS, NIECES, NEPHEWS, COUSINS AND FRIENDS. KUAKAPUOKALANI WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS SMILE, HIS LAUGHTER AND HIS ZEST FOR LIFE. HE LEAVES US TOO EARLY, TOO SOON.. HIS MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE FROM 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. ON FEBRUARY 11, 2013 AND FROM 9:00 A.M.-NOON ON FEBRUARY 12, 2013 AT THE HAWAIIAN MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY IN KANEOHE. ALOHA ATTIRE.
