Raymond M. Scanlan, 72, of Honolulu, a movie driver with Teamsters Local 996, died in Honolulu. He was born in Fagatogo, American Samoa. He is survived by wife Penny; sons Raymond M. "Pe‘a" Scanlan Jr., Tommy and Traves Ukauka and Kekoa Giddens; daughters Malia Scanlan, Genevieve Teixiera, Maile Gascon and Tiffany Goode; brother Eric; sisters Genevieve Broussard and Vera Munar; 29 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services: 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay, 48-815 Pookela St., near courthouse at Windward Community College campus. Updated service information for an obituary published Saturday.
