He was a lifetime member of the Waianae Hawaiian Civic Club. He is survived by sons, George Kawelo, Jr., David (Rochelle) Kawelo, Eugene (Stephanie) Kawelo, William Kawelo, Sr. Robert Frosch, Bert Barber; daughters, Melmanette Worthington, Ursula (Joe Fred) Mikulenka of TX, Janmar Gonzalez, Obedine Villamor, Wilma Perrin; 54 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren; 26 great- great-grandchildren; sister, Emma Hitchcock. Visitation 9:00 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 24) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. No flowers, please.
