Walter Sakamoto, 93, of Pukalani, Maui, a Haleakala Dairy supervisor and an Army veteran who served on the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died in Kahului. He was born in Makawao, Maui. He is survived by sons Wayne and Keith, daughter Sheila Izumigawa, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Makawao.
