James Yoshio Higa, 83, of Honolulu, a retired federal government information systems analyst at Fort Shafter and an AirForce veteran, died in St. Francis Hospice West. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Marilyn L., son Kevin K.Y., daughter Desiree E.U. Bollig, sisters Beatrice K. Nishizawa and Joyce M. Uehara, and three grandchildren. Private services.
