George Kaoni Panui Jr., 77, of Pearl City, a retired captain at Young Bros. and Hawaiian Tug & Barge, and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Alice; son Gary; daughters Georgette and Gwen; brothers Edward "Bro," Paul "Lani" and Charlie; sister Jenny Gomes; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Saturday at Kawaiahao Church, 957 Punchbowl St., Honolulu. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire.
