73Robert Takemi Takahashi, 87, of Hilo, a retired Hale Koa Hotel engineer, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in Mountain View, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Terence and Ryan; daughter Robyn Nishimura; brothers Masayoshi, Norm, Charles and Delbert; sisters Nobue Nakamura, Fujiko "Fuzzy" Ogawa, Michiko Mau, Kim K. Yamagata and Michelle Older; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. Visitation:3 p.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary chapel. Services: 4 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire. No flowers.
