Alston Motoji Toko, 57, of Kukuihaele, Hawaii, a Waipio Valley taro farmer, co-owner of Waipio Ridge Stables and a Navy veteran, died at home. He was born in Hono-kaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Shirley; daughters Ke‘ala and Kau‘i Toko, and Malia Palea; mother Gladys H.; brothers Ellaham and Naaman; sisters Florene Hoapile and Gladys Ablao; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at the family residence, 48-5459 Kukuihaele Road. Services: noon. Casual attire.
